But you were offered it though...
I mean, that is true, but I declined the offer.
Besides, this is getting off-topic, and let's settle this: it'd be best if this wiki would be to migrate, because at least readers would have a version of the wiki with less ads, but unfortunately, the Fandom wiki would have to still exist because of their Forking Policy.
This is what I would rather say. I'm not exactly saying not to migrate because of the fact that Fandom doesn't lose another wiki editing community and that I'm loyal to the company, I'm only saying that the unfortunate truth would that in either case, the Fandom wiki would still exist.
Hi, everyone! I lead the partnerships team at Fandom, and as I'm sure you know I'd love to see Farming Simulator Wiki remain on the Fandom platform. Are there any needs that you all have from GIANTS that we might be able to help unlock? I'd be happy to faciliate that discussion with them. You're welcome to email me at brian@fandom.com. Thanks!
I mean, that's fine, good luck on the your journey!
I'll be sorry to see you go.
For what it's worth, a dozen Fandom employees saw the poll and only the two of us who are directly invested in supporting this wiki placed votes. We'll remain to support this wiki on Fandom either way. Azgoodaz complained about Fandom employees voting, but Wiki.gg employees have also voted, including using a bot account for one user to vote twice. Accounting for duplicate voters, the vote is actually currently tied.
If you cut out everyone who hasn't edited the wiki (including myself, I just wanted to see results and would unvote if I could), it's 2 votes for yes and 0 votes for no.
@Mr Pie 5 that means only me and Azgoodaz voted "yes" and nobody voted "no", if cut everyone who hasn't edited the wiki.
Only me and Azgoodaz contributed on Wiki.
As far as I know, Fandom is more popular, so wikis will get seen here more than on wiki.gg. I believe the community should remain here, or build a new one while retaining the same attention. However this will lead to the wiki here eventually dying and never getting updates, leaving new FS players wondering why none of their information is on the wiki.
> build a new one while retaining the same attention.
If every wiki did this, they will blame each other for stealing information. This isn't possible.
> However this will lead to the wiki here eventually dying and never getting updates, leaving new FS players wondering why none of their information is on the wiki.
That's the whole point of a fork. To make one non-existent anymore and force the bad one out.
What do you think?
