In Farming Simulator 15, the store offers a category of equipment titled "Feeding Technology". This category contains all equipment that is used for the purpose of using Bales to feed and care for Sheep and Cows.
However, the devices in the list are quite different from one another, serving different tasks related to animal husbandry. They cannot be directly compared to one another.
Therefore, the Feeding Technology category can be further split into two sub-categories, containing all of the equipment available in the base game:
- Bale Shredders are machines specifically designed to shred bales apart into a loose form of material. The only such machine available in the game is only capable of working with Straw bales, which are used for Cow shed bedding.
- Mixer Wagons are far more complicated machines. They can do the same job as Bale Shredders, for any type of bale in the game. Furthermore, Mixer Wagons are the only machines that can create Total Mixed Ration, the most potent type of Cow feed.
