In Farming Simulator 22, a secondary source of income is growing vegetables through greenhouses. All vegetables can be grown, harvested, and sold. Greenhouses produce regardless of the weather conditions or season, even the snowy months.

Description[]

There are 3 size of green houses:

  • Small (€3000)
  • Medium (€5000)
  • Large (€10000)

They can be placed on any flat land that you own and can be found in the productions tab of the building screen. You can plant lettuce, tomatoes and strawberries. They also need water to produce.

For each greenhouse you can manually set the output to either:

  • Store
  • Sell
  • Distribute

By default the greenhouse will store the goods and generate pallets outside of it which you need to deal with manually by either selling them or distributing them to your production chains to make goods like strawberry cake!

Notes[]

Use of a Krone Trailer Profi Liner will allow farmers to transport in bulk.

Greenhouses production limit is infinite as long as water is supplied.

At 360x timescale, Greenhouses will take as least 8 real time hours to reach the maximum pallet limit.
