How to grow Grapes[]
Sowing[]
- To sow Grapes, you need to build a grape vine which can be found in a new build mode.
- In build mode, choose the production category, then choose orchard..
- Select a grapevine in the orchard.
- Then, build the vines in the field.
Fertilizing[]
- You need to mulch the grass between vines to help with growth.
- To mulch the grass between vines, you need a specialized 1-1.5 meter cultivator.
- When you are mulching or fertilizing grape fields, be careful as the vines have collisions and you can damage them.
- There are new specialized fertilizers to go between the rows.
Note: When mulching and cultivating, only one pass down the center of each row is required. Even if the map shows that plowing is needed, there is no benefit apart from visual appeal to getting rid of all the grass between rows. This is the same for Olives
Harvesting[]
- Grapes will be ready to harvest from the start of September to the end of October if you are playing with the calendar on.
- Use a New Holland Braud 9070L to harvest grapes.
- Lower, unfold, and turn on the harvester.
- After harvesting grapes, you need a pre-pruner. This cannot be used for olives.
- When the harvester is full, raise the bunker and load the grapes into a special trailer.
Grapes can be processed into grape juice or even raisins. You can then deliver them to other production plants like the cereal factory or to a selling point like the supermarket.
