A mower refers to a piece of equipment that is used for cutting grass or other plants that grow on the ground. In agriculture, mowers are called haybines or mower-conditioners. They feature rollers to break the stalks of the material to allow faster drying. In game, only grass is used to make hay, but in agriculture, a variety of plants are used in place of grass due to better understanding of dietary needs of cattle. These plants are called forage crops.
