The Platinum Expansion is a Year 1 Season Pass Expansion and final pack in season pass for Farming Simulator 22. It was revealed July 5, 2022 at the GIANTS YouTube channel video with Volvo Partnership. Announced July 12, 2022 and released on November 15, 2022.
The latest DLC version, Update 1.3 was released on January 24, 2023.

- Platinum Expansion in files of game is known as Forestry Pack.
- Tajfun can be found in game files, in data/store/brands with name brand_tajfun.dds, which is was unused and became for Platinum DLC.
General[]
- This is another DLC that adds new types of garages. First of them is AGI Pack.
- This is a first map expansion that introduced building function.
- This is a first map expansion that introduced Dog House producing at the Pet Accessories Factory.
- This is a first map expansion that introduced rollercoasters from real-life.
Vehicles[]
- Only Quicke has two big bag lifters: Quicke BIG BAG LIFTER - SINGLE and BIG BAG LIFTER - DUAL. This is a first map expansion that adds new big bag lifters for Volvo L120H and Volvo L180H.
- Pre-order bonus for this map expansion are two new machines: Volvo T 425 Krabat and Volvo LM 845.
- Volvo L120H horn can be found in game files of Volvo LM 845, known as data/vehicles/volvo/lm845/sounds/volvoL120H_horn.ogg.
- This is a first map expansion that introduced slope compersation to the variety of machines. Same was with Rigitrac SKH 150 from Farming Simulator 19 that introduced in Alpine Farming Expansion.
- Skidders were first introduced in another game developed by Focus Entertainment - MudRunner, which introduced in the American Wilds Expansion, the K-8400 Skidder that based on Caterpillar 545C Skidder.

- After Platinum Expansion released, there wasn't name and screenshot slider of new map, Silverrun Forest. Later, it was added.

- Volvo ("Volvo Trucks") also introduced in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
- However Volvo FH16 is also introduced in Euro Truck Simulator 2 under the "Volvo FH16 (2012)" name.
