The Rostselmash Argus 870 is a Harvesting Header available in Farming Simulator 17. It is one of two medium-sized Corn/Sunflower headers in the base game. The Argus 870 is a little cheaper than the Capello Diamant HS8, but is also smaller. It also cannot be folded for transportation.
Advantages[]
- Slightly Cheaper: The Argus 870 is slightly cheaper than its direct competitor, the Capello Diamant HS8. If you have an extra $2,000, a Diamant HS8 is usually worth the expense.
- Low Maintenance Cost: Both the Argus 870 and its competitor, the Capello Diamant HS8, have a lower maintenance cost per day than normal for their size.
- Very Light: The Argus 870 is a very light Header, especially considering its size. This is only a minor benefit for a Header.
Disadvantages[]
- Slightly Narrower: Compared to its direct competitor, the Capello Diamant HS8, the Argus 870 is 0.3 meters narrower - a difference of about 5%.
- No Folding: The Argus 870 does not have any folding hydraulics to reduce its size for easier transportation between fields. Nonetheless it should still be narrow enough to negotiate most obstacles.
