The Sawmill is one of the production chains in Farming Simulator 2022. It's the "first" tiered production facility in the Forestry branch which produces Planks, with the "second" tier being the Carpentry, which in its turn produces Furniture. The Sawmill outputs Planks along with Wood Chips, which have no current use other than for selling. The main thing to note is that you do not need to use the Sawmill to produce furniture with the Carpentry since it has two choices of input.
